Hello, a bit about me…
Hi there! My name is Peiqi Yin, but I go by the name Felicity, which has the same meaning as my Chinese name: a state of happiness. I was born and raised in Beijing, China until the age of 15 when I came to the U.S. to study by myself. Leaving home at such a young age has enabled me to adapt to new environment easily and quickly.
I graduated from UC San Diego with a B.S. degree in Cognitive Science Human Computer Interaction in March 2020. Since then, I have been working as a product designer at ServiceNow, designing for Lightstep Incident Response: an all-in-one platform for DevOps & SREs. Trained in SAFe (scaled agile framework), I thrive in fast-paced work environment and enjoy passionate conversations about human-centered design. I love engaging in user interviews, usability testings and journey mapping. Observing how real life user interactions align or differ from my intention intrigues me deeply and seeing the impact of my creation motivates me like nothing else.
Outside of work, I’m a plant mom and animal lover. Since the pandemic, I’ve bought (and killed🤭) countless plants. I have a dog back home with my parents and adopted two cats in San Diego. I also love traveling and believe that learning about different cultures and immersing in nature nurture our soul.
